Nowdays, one of controverial issues is the dilemma whether or not the old should be put into nursing houses. Different poeple maintian their own ideas. People agree with that old people shoud be taken care by nurses, but the others are for the opinion that the old may enjoy themseleves with their families. the purpose of this essay will disscuss the problem and show my opinion. The people who hold the proposing opinion think that those retired people can make new friends in the nursing house. They can play cards or chess toghter and there are many activities waiting for them . So,it can make their life colourful. Moreover, there are many nurses looking after their healthly situation and the children need not pay more attention to that, they can concentrate on working and making money. There is no denying that there are some disadvantages of living without their children First of all, after going to nursig houses , children have little time to watch their parents and the relationship may become not closed than before, so, the generation gap will appear between them. What is more , it costs a large sum of money to let them go to the nursing houses. Some people maintain that the old people have little no income and it may be a burden for the busy children. In my opinion, going to the nursing house or not, it depends on people thenselves. If the children are too busy and have no time to attend their parents and they can afford the money, it is maybe a better choice for them. On the other hand , some young people have lots of fre time , so it is significant to stay with their parents and to pay more attention to their felling and health. In summary, after weighing up the two side of the argument, there are positive and negative aspects as well as problems as to whether old people go to nursing houses. It is hinge on their situation and choice .
